So if you have eyes you can see that I have once again changed the layout. It still needs tweaking since I was kinda lazy when I put it up and only half-assed it but I like it much more than I liked the old layout. While I still love that picture of Venice, I just didn’t the way that layout looked. It just looked hastily thrown together and not really what I wanted to go for. I’ll try and make another layout out of my pictures from Italy again but I’m not sure when it’ll be up. In any case, I think this particular layout is quite nice. It’s the first real time I’ve fooled around with the arrangement of the menu and I think it came out looking pretty nice. Plus, Jake Gyllenhaal’s so easy on the eyes. I think he’s rivalling Adrien Brody’s layout record!

In other news, I’m super excited about the semester being over soon. Not only do I get to finally breathe a bit before the next one begins but I’ll get to drive up north to see my friend who lives in North Bay. I’ve never driven that far by myself! It’s exhilirating and frightening all at once.

I also found out that the Oakham House Choir, of which I am a member, will be doing a work of Puccini’s in the winter semester. This Saturday is our Christmas concert and it barely feels like five months have gone by. It’s lovely to be back in a choir, especially one so professional. Not only do we sound amazing but, because most of the people have read music before and have some musical background, we’re also able to get the notes right quickly. Still, in every choir there’s on sour note, it seems. It’s unfortunate that it’s often the most loud … :/

Anyway, I need bed. I’ve got an exam on Wednesday and I need to study tomorrow!

It’s been awhile since I’ve written anything down! Exams have begun so life has been a bit hectic. However, I’m glad the essays have all been handed in. I’m a little embarrassed by the last one I handed in (today) but the guy is an insanely easy marker so I’m not terribly worried. Still, I feel a little guilty cause I feel like I’m insulting him with the tripe I’ve handed in. However, my level of caring has dipped well below zero so it’s no longer a real concern of mine. As long as I do well on my exams I’ll be happy. Besides, I haven’t gotten anything lower than a B all semester so I’ve been doing well, I dare say.

By the way, I highly recommend Sarah McLachlan’s Wintersong if you’re looking for new Christmas tunes. I know I’m heavily biased since I idolize the woman but she really does know how to make a pretty song, especially for the holidays.

Speaking of the holidays, I’m wallowing cause I’m a bit cash-strapped at the moment. I’m sort of late in the game trying to find a second job but so far it hasn’t been too concerning. I’ve found ways to make money other than my normal job so I should be able to get all of the presents I’m planning to get. Which reminds me. I should probably think about what I’m getting everyone. Right now I have no clue what I’m getting anyone. All I know is that I’m going cheap this year, lol. I hate to be a big cheapo but it sucks when your income is low. Next year I’ll hopefully compensate because I’ll have a full-time job!
