Drinking = good times

I should be practicing. I have a wedding to go to in two and a half hours to sing at. Three songs, all of them church-y but I don’t want to practice even though I know I’ll sound like shit if I don’t. So I’m just taking a breather from Ave Maria to blog a bit since I haven’t all week.
Last night I went out with Christina and Rachel to see a small ‘punk’ concert in the middle of Ancaster. It sucked but that was only cause the bands were fledgling and they just need time to work on their stuff. So it was okay. Afterwards, we took a gander around Value Village to see if there was anything interesting to buy. I managed to find a couple of shirts that I enjoyed enough to buy. We went to the Rude Native downtown after that for a bite to eat. They make good bruschetta there (and yes, I know I typed that in incorrectly. W/E) and Sangria which was the first time I tasted that. I was lucky to be around a couple of 19-year-olds cause I felt brazen. :laugh: Afterwards, Hess St. was having it’s Mardi Gras party so we went down to that. Christina gave me her license for the bouncer to check and I got in no problem. I guess it was cause I was wearing a hat 
Either way, I got in to the BAR and I was HAPPY. We didn’t drink much though cause Christina needed to drive us home and I didn’t want to spend all of my money right then and there. Drinks were like five bucks a pop anyway so I only had a couple: a gin and ginger ale and a rum and coke. Whatevs. It was fun testing the limits of Hess St. I’m sure I wasn’t the only underaged drinker but I was definitely one of the happiest for getting in 
If I don’t post again soon I’ll do it now. I’ll probably leave a sticky above the last post so people don’t have to go searching for this info: I’m going to Ottawa from June 27th to July 9th and I won’t be able to do anything with my email probably so if you send me a form, don’t expect to get a response until after the 9th. I’ll still have access to the website and will probably update every now and then but I won’t have access to the email so yeah. You can email me just don’t expect a response back anytime soon
