Yep, I was right: night shifts suck the life completely out of me. I’m barely awake as I write this but for some odd and pathetic reason I feel compelled to write something for my nonexistant readers.

Today there were two significant things that occured to me that I will make mention and focus this blog upon: the first was my nephew’s first birthday. My nephew Ethan whom I :heart: very, very much received a gorgeous silk puppy dog and I couldn’t stop stroking its fur cause it was so soft and I was so cold. We held the dinner for him outside due to lack of room inside and it was freezing out there yet no one wanted to go inside. Boourns. I’m warm now though in case you’re wondering :blush:

The second significant thing that occured to me was that I spoke with an aquaintance today on the ol’ MSN and he did something that really made me feel good. He apologized for being a big jerk. Let me give you a little history so you understand why he apologized. I met him at work about a year and a half ago; he worked with me for awhile before he got fired and I had a big crush on his fine little ass. He paid me the same amount of attention he would to a speck of dirt on his right shoulder and generally made me feel like crap for liking him. Him apologizing for being such a big prick (his own words right there) really meant a lot to me cause most guys don’t. It’s no big secret that I usually wear my heart on my sleeve and most crushes just end up in the garbage cause I can’t keep my feelings in check and the boy ends up exploiting it :angry:

Tomorrow I’m going to the pet store after work to buy a hamster. I haven’t had a hamster in a very long time but I really would love to own one again. My mother was deadset against my buying a rabbit so I suppose a hamster will do. They’re smaller anyways
