I hope she kills Bill in the end .. that would suck if she didn’t.

Well, I exercised my first privilege of my summer today by sleeping in until two in the afternoon. I lazily rolled my fat ass out of bed, strolled downstairs, ate a bagel for lunch and then played on the computer until 5 o’clock. I called Tatjana, made plans to see Kill Bill Vol. 2 and then, only then, did I go to the washroom to take a shower.
It was glorious.
As for Vol. 2 I was neither horribly disappointed nor was I thrilled by it. The first half was definitely better than the second, but that’s because all of the really cool stuff was in the first half. The second half was definitely funnier and you finally get to find out the Bride’s name which bothered me. I hate how they bleeped out her name like it was a fucking cuss word. :angry:
Anyway, I won’t say anymore in case you haven’t seen it.
One thing that’s been on my mind lately has been old lady hair .. When I was on the bus going downtown today there were quite a few old ladies on board. All of them had the same sort of hair: short, curly and frizzy. Now I understand the frizzy part but what about the curly and short? Is there some sort of code that old ladies have to follow? “In order to be seen in public, after the age of 65 you must shear your hair and curl it every day. The colour may vary to your taste, but no long hair allowed!” That’s just weird.

i dont really like Vol2. but i’m not a big fan of Vol.1 to begin with… so. :p
as of the old ladies.. well, may be short hair was the trend when they were young. they thought it’s cool to have short curly hairs. LOL just a thought…

I wish there’d have been more violence in vol. 2, but other than that I thought it was superb. Hee, I think I’m in love with Quentin Tarantino. But then again, I fall in love easily.
I go days without showering, never wake up before noon, and I think I’m coming down with carpel tunnel syndrome. I think this whole vacation thing may only be good in small doses. Eep. Just a warning ;).

Wow, you were one of the first people to say you weren’t surprised by Kill Bill Vol. 2. I still wanna see it though, but I can’t till I see the first one.

wow, sometimes I envy those who can sleep all the way. Even during the summer or vacation, I wake up early even if I sleep at midnight. my latest probably was 9 am. sometimes I feel I’m a live alarm clock. I even wake up at 4-5 am in the morning and I always have to try to sleep again, only realizing I woke up ten minutes later. -__-;

Great layout, Akasha
It’s really amazing! I should go see Kill Bill, but I’m too lazy actually, lmao.

It’s weird — everyone keeps telling me how they enjoyed Vol 1 much more than Vol 2. They are quite different but you just gotta love each for what it is. I guess I just got completely lost in the amazing Tarantino dialogue. But yeah, he should have left them as one movie and maybe cut out some of the dialogue in Vol 2. Would have been perfect then
