It’s the Weekend!

I was pretty mad last night over this fridge business. It’s not really my parent’s fault, I guess. I’ve been pretty cranky this whole week. Each day I’ve come home tired and really, really hungry only to find my parent’s have bought something extravagant — a new computer, or a new printer. Well, the new computer was actually last week, if I want to get technical. Still, it’s just frustrating. They don’t have the most money and I worry that they’re frittering away their live savings on silly gadgets for today. Who knows, though. I might be completely wrong about them not having any money. God knows we don’t talk about this type of stuff.
Anyway, the rest of my night went pretty quietly. As soon as I got home I had some left over yummy pierogies my mom made for dinner. I watched television until about three am, I think. I didn’t mean to stay up that late — especially since the calibre of television was about as good as it gets on a Friday night — but I sat in bed watching Flavor of Love with Tila Tequila until I could barely keep my eyes open.
I also treated myself by sleeping in until noon today. I woke up around nine at first, saw the time and said no, thanks.
Today I have to clean, though. Perhaps that’s why I wanted to sleep in as long as possible — to avoid the inevitable chores.
My birthday is in a week’s time and friends will be coming over for the weekend. I can’t have this place looking like poo! Plus, Melbs has an allergy to cats which is going to make it difficult for her to sleep in any room in my house unless I fumigate first!
So I suppose I should get started… Possibly…
Maybe I’ll go back to bed?

Eeek, that is a bit scary. Hopefully they do have the funds to do it. An uncle of mine is really crazy about spending money. The last I knew he was 100k or more in debt and he just went on a trip around the world, and keeps buying. But he’s the type of person if someone else has something he needs it as well, sometimes you just need to calm down a bit and be happy with what you can afford.
Ooh, your birthday is coming up soon! Lots of November babies, maybe why we can get on with each other another Pisces / Scorpio combination. I know many of these Scorpios and I have yet to be stungerered. Please don’t kill me.
Good luck with the cleaning, that is never my friend. I always fail.

Wow, your uncle sounds like he’s living the life I want to live … except for the 100k in debt, that is! Traveling the world is a big dream of mine.
Yes, my birthday is coming and I’m excited! I’ve actually planned things and people are coming and it’ll be grrreat!
I think the real reason we get on with each other is because you’re great! I promise not to kill you.
I’m trying very hard to clean… right now my study is slowly coming together. I have way too many clothes, I’m beginning to realize!

Lol! It sounds like you had a great sleep in. I am totally jealous. I had to get up before 7 everyday of this long weekend to work. It sucked…but I made some good money, so that’s makes it ok. But I only *wish* I could sleep in until noon. I don’t remember the last time I did that….of course I also don’t remember the last time I stayed up past 1! LOL. I am such a dork
