Today I am a Canadian citizen! Wait, no not yet. I have to go to my ceremony, but in an hour’s time, I will be a Canadian citizen! It’s too exciting for words 
It’s too bad I have the flu to dampen my spirits 
I’m gonna sound like a drowned cat when I sing the national anthem!

It’s cool that we live close to each other.
As for the ceremony, when you become a Canadian citizen you have to be sworn in. So ya, you need a ceremony
There’s even an immigration judge!

I would totally be all “STOP! HAMMERTIME!” at my ceremony. Of course you gotta break into dance. It also helps if you know all the words to the song. HAHA If I wasn’t born here I would’ve been kicked out so fast already.
