While I figure out themes Which isn’t going to take me long cause I finally upgraded Wordpress from 1.2 to 1.5.1.2billion fifty five. Or whatever. So the collective is just a blog for the time being, but that’s alrighty. I had to in order to set up the plugin that Moll kindly suggested to me in the previous post after I had to delete all the spam I got from those bullshit trolls. I know they are software programs but I was just sooooo tired last night that I needed to rant.

Today was day two of my training at my new job! I had to call in sick at McDonalds in order to go to this bloody thing, a decision I hate making, but do anyway. Some people don’t give two shits about calling in sick whenever they please, but I positively loathe and detest the business. I know any Tom, Dick or Harry will pick up my shift like a ravenous dog, since it’s money and there’s never enough shifts to go around during the summertime, but I still don’t like inconveniencing them because these people have become my friends and I know how much it sucks when some asshole calls in for his shift. Besides, I just want to be reliable. I know it’s not something I do every week, but if I can do it less often than that’s even better!

Anyway, so my new job. I am now a certified telemarketer. Well, I will be on Saturday when I actually begin working on the phones. I’ll be selling pre-approved credit cards from Bank of America to actual Americans. I’m kinda excited I know, I’m a total loser for actually being excited, but after four years at the Golden Arches, I really do need something different, and this is pretty different! Well, not that different. I’m still selling something to them from a headset, it’s just they didn’t come to me, I came to them. So I’m prepared to take the abuse when it comes cause it’s not the first time it’s happened. Hell, most of these people won’t be drunk, so that’s a bonus, to be honest! Suffice it to say, I think I’ll be able to handle it.
